| Much like Empire Strikes Back in the Star Wars trilogy, this record The Return of the Real will probably end up being the most liked of the three. Just like the movie, it deals with much darker themes and leaves us wanting some kind of resolution that we know we can only get in the next part of the trilogy. It is a record that takes a lot of chances and is thankfully never obvious. Although it could be dismissed as crap, it ends up paying off in spades for anyone willing to go with it. This record is about as experimental and exciting as music can get. The Rambler records are more than cutting edge, they're light years ahead in a galaxy far far away. Take a chance on this and feel the force.. |
